Jessicas Ghost are a Liverpool band with a difference. They are a band that draws a crowd and turn heads when they start to play. The line up of cello, mandolin, acoustic guitar, double bass, keyboards, bongos, drums and amazingly tight vocal harmonies make this five piece one to look out for. They play a unique mix of pop, folk, blues and rock that you can’t help but tap your foot along to. The songs are infectious with sing along choruses that will stick in your head for days. The band have played just about every major music venue in Liverpool and the surrounding areas and 2008 has seen the band heading a bit further a field.

Likened to a split personality, they knock you out with one hand while picking you up with the other, like watching a storm flatten a building, with anger and fury one minute, then seeing the sun break through the next. From chaotic to calm in the beat of a drum. A lethal combination of heavy, moody, hard driven, beat laden funk rock and hip-hop and soaring, warming, uplifting soul with raunchy blues.
