Embrace your inner child with the Happiness Ninja!

Ummm, why?

Well d’uhhh, it makes you HAPPY!

Playing, goofing around and not taking yourself too seriously is pretty much the answer to everything in life! Our child-like capacity for innocence, wonder, awe, joy, sensitivity and playfulness has the key to more of our happiness than most of us realise!!!

Somewhere along the way we learn to forget the things that, once upon a time, came so naturally to us. We’re told to stop being silly and childish; to stop daydreaming; to just grow up like mummy and daddy and fit in with everyone else – yet once we grow up, many of us wonder what our purpose in life is.

It isn’t to work and pay bills. Everyone knows that!
?

Denying, stifling or even bludgeoning our child-like qualities to death can actually have quite a serious effect on our mental well being. Yes that’s right – hello depression, anxiety, insecurity, loneliness, anger and all those other things we don’t like to talk about. All those things come from not embracing that little boy or little girl inside us all.

Did you know the things you did as a child most reflect your true self?  Your beautiful spirit?

Did you paint? Did you dance? Did you have an epic imagination? Did you love to build things? Play shop? Boss people about? Like to help others? Be a superhero?

Who were you before you became who you thought you should be?

Let’s find out!

?

Come join the Unicorn Club!

You’re invited to leave your grown-up problems at the door and indulge in some play time with the Happiness Ninja! So, pop on a uni-horn, play a game, do some colouring in, raid the fancy dress box and take a silly photo – it’s time to embrace your inner child! Plus it’s an excuse to act like a proper knob for a couple of hours!

Stress? What stress?

The Brain Trainer [+]

Live Info Session on Training your Brain for Body LOVE

13617588_10209794855611862_299964431_n

Hello!

This is a live event to find out all the information about how TRAINING your BRAIN can impact on:
-WEIGHT LOSS
-BODY LOVE
-HEALING SELF TALK
-MOTIVATION TO EXERCISE

If you’ve
– tried every diet and still struggling
– have constant thoughts about food and your weight
– feel upset and deprived that you can’t eat ‘treats’ etc
– you find yourself in a binge eating cycle
– eat alone and when no-one can see you, feeling ashamed afterwards
– desperately wanting to succeed
– want REAL, effortless results
– youe know what you SHOULD be doing but just cant seem to get there. You’re stuck

Then you’ll want to sniff this out.
I will be sharing with you the techniques that I used to completely change my habits and behaviors and RELATIONSHIP with food.

Basically… I thought myself thin, happy, healthy.

You will be able to sign up to the programme on the night, there will be different options and also if you attend a reduction in the price of the programme.

I have already put a number of girls through this and they have CHANGED their thinking around food just in the first few days…

THEN it gets exciting, you get to see how from a new calm standpoint you eat differently, no guilt, no struggle, no ‘I should be eating this’ just calm, clear thinking. No more binge eating / emotional eating.

Its SO freeing and I have SO much to tell you.

This isn’t going to be a high pressured salesy event, more women coming together and being able to express their frustrations and hear first hand how they never need to ‘THINK’ about being on a diet again.

This is possible. It happened for me and now happening with my clients.

I’m here to help. This is so exciting!

Come be a part of a new way of thinking,
Heather
The Brain Trainer
xx

(This event will be recorded and replayed for those who cannot make it. No one will be filmed without their consent, mostly the camera will be recording my presentation)

The course is limited in numbers due to the one to one coaching as part of the programme.

Chris Tavener Music

Chris Tavener is a satirical singer-songwriter, known for his mischievously witty lyrics, well-crafted songwriting and a vintage sound.

Having performed over 230 times in 2015, Chris is one of the most hard-working musicians in the North West. His latest EP sold in the hundreds of copies and a new release for 2016 has received acclaim from Steve Lamacq of BBC 6 Music.

Originally from Northwich in Cheshire, Chris began writing and producing demo albums at age 17. Rather than write about himself, he wrote songs that featured interesting characters or ironic takes on social behaviour. Five albums later he recorded his latest studio EP that’s seen him perform from Edinburgh to London. In March to April 2016 he took on a nationwide tour visiting 10 cities over 6 weeks. He launched his new EP “i’m sorrdy bi’m drunnk” in Manchester on 19th May.

Drawing (no pun intended) on ideas based on events across the country such as Street Wars and Doodle-planet, ‘The Draw Inn ’ combines sketching, graffiti, painting and imagery with musical backdrops and social interaction.

Whether you are an experience penman, budding artist or want to try your hand at drawing then head on down to this special event on the 15th October and let your creativity run free. Art materials will be available on the night to hire but please feel free to bring along your own mediums. Art boards & paper will already be laid out upon arrival so you can get stuck right in. Before time is called artists will be encouraged to swap, sell, give away, or just show off their masterpieces. Barter with whatever you can, buy them a pint, sign a t-shirt or use good old fashioned cash, so long as both parties agree you could be walking away with your very own original artworks. The Flipside Takeover [+]

Free Entry

flippy

Flipside Radio (formerly Lache FM) is a community radio station for Chester. We aim to celebrate the people, music and culture within our community. We promote local musicians, charities and community groups, as well as playing a wide range of music, from chart pop to roots reggae and everything in between. All of our presenters are volunteers.

The station has a monthly event at Telford’s Warehouse where we get to showcase local musicians and it’s always free entry.

I was asked to organise this month’s event on the 25th of August, so I’m taking it a bit out there.

First up will be Patchwork Man from Wrexham, bringing his unique blissy blend of acoustic psychedelia to proceedings.
We had him on last year and he went down a storm with his leftfield humour and engaging performance.

https://soundcloud.com/geeb-3

Our main act are Chester space rockers Civilian Zen.

Civilian Zen was formed in 2006 by Keith Hill & Mark Broster, recording two albums for the Shelter charity in 2006 & 2007, including former members of Hawkwind.

Since then they have gone on to record a number of quality releases including the magnificent Tell Lie Vision from 2014.

Civilian Zen are

Ralph Wordenweber, Mark Broster & Keith Hill.

https://civilianzen-music.bandcamp.com/

Soundtracking the event will be the boys from popular music panel show Ear Of The Tiger so expect an eclectic mix of absolute quality to nod your head to.

And of course. Who else could host such an evening but our very own Rusty Mahone.

We’ll hopefully see you there for a fantastic night of music.
